Kia ora my name is Kayla. I come all the way from Cape Town, South Africa. My family and I moved to New Zealand a few months ago. I'm in year 5 at Wainui Beach School. I have one little brother and a mom and a dad. We live opposite Wainui Beach.

I like learning new things. I think I am very good at handwriting. I really love art. I am not so good at speaking in Māori. My goal for the year is to be even better at playing netball. My biggest dream is to climb up the Eiffel Tower. I really want to go to Paris and explore. I love exploring.

I would really like to start gymnastics. Gymnastics is lots of fun. I started gymnastics when I was 5 .years old.

Our Class Party

Our class Party was yesterday. It was very fun. Most of us came in our PJ's. I wore my PJ's. My PJ's were very fluffy

We had crafts there was lots of different types of crafts. I think that I was mostly by the hot glue gun and paint section. We had to be very careful with the hot glue guns.

We had waffles for morning tea. The waffles were so yummy. Almost all of us had whipped cream on our waffles. I had whipped cream and Nutella.

We watched Harry Potter. I had never watched Harry Potter before. Harry Potter is a very nice movie. There wasn't enough time to watch the full movie but we are going to finish the movie today.

We had a shared lunch there was lots of food. when the bell rang we all came to the classroom and gathered around the table. There was hot dogs on the table that looked very yummy. Everyone started to scream HOT DOGS! HOT DOGS! HOT DOGS! The hot dogs were  probably finished in about 10 minutes.

I had tons of fun

Without trees as we know the world wouldn't exist.

One solution to this problem was to plant fast growing EXOTIC trees.

Kaingaroa State Forest was one of the largest plantation the world.

If there were no trees there would be no oxygen with no oxygen we wouldn't be able to breath.

This text is telling us to take good care of all trees and plants because we need oxygen from the trees.

We live in the USA. We live on a beach in the USA so we can eat bish. We live on land and swim in the sea.

We love eating bish, bish is fish and bird mixed.

We can make noises like...EOWW. We love playing around.

They love to have fun and eat lots of bish
